Go back in time to the dapper days of prohibition, speakeasies, the FBI, and elegant restaurants. Maxwell Silverman's Luciano's Restaurant Union Station is just that, elegant! As soon as you walk in, you are transported back to the days of the glitz and glamour of some of the most colorful individuals and atmospheres of that era.
Enjoy the surroundings of the very carefully selected furnishings and décor that reflect those times and enjoy a libation which starts at only five dollars at one of the most unique bars you will ever come across.
The colorful backlit bar is all white marble and along with the best liquors and drinks available, it also sports an antique cash register [for tips] and a "Very Special Item" hanging above it. It doesn't stop there.
The dining area is also period perfect from the Art Deco chairs and tables to the high back cushioned chairs and tables throughout and see the "mural" where many patrons have their pictures taken.The Five & Ten menu is incredibly affordable with Appetizers and Entrées starting at just ten dollars! You'll enjoy the "Speakeasy Appetizers" such as "Oyster Shooters" made with fresh oysters, bloody mary and cocktail sauce and served in three individual shot glasses, "Cotton Club Calamari" served sautéed or fried with our signature cherry pepper sauce and "The Heist" Chicken Parm Sliders to name a few.
Move on to some of the most delicious salads you'll ever have such as the "Luciano's Caesar" with homemade croutons, anchovies, and shaved parmesan, "The Dutch Man", a cool cucumber salad over field greens and more, all sure to please.
Entrées include "Open Face Baby Nelson", a 10oz sirloin served on toasted bread points with lettuce and tomato, the grilled "Salmon Bambino" with tomato, basil, garlic and extra virgin olive oil, "Lucky's Chicken Cacciatore" with linguini, peppers, onions, and mushrooms in a light tomato broth and more than half a dozen more to choose from.
On the lighter side, there are burgers and sandwiches for everyone from the delicious "Bonnie & Clyde" salmon burger with herb mayo, field greens to the "FBI Burger", an Angus burger topped with Canadian bacon, fried egg, and hollandaise sauce. Try a "Ham & Cheese Panini" made with house baked ham, Vermont cheddar, lettuce and tomatoes or a "Grilled Chicken and Apple Sausage" with French bread and fries.
